Prince Rupert Port launches KleinPort

Prince Rupert Port in B.C. will deploy the KleinPort, a port management information system that manages and tracks operational activities and cargo data, according to a statement from Klein Systems Group.

"We selected Klein for its port industry experience and its proven ability to deliver comprehensive port management solutions," said Don Krusel, president and CEO of the Prince Rupert Port Authority.

Klein Systems, headquartered in Burnaby, B.C., said the port would also use the software to generate billing and perform data analysis and reporting.

"As a BC company, we are very pleased to welcome Prince Rupert Port Authority as our first BC port customer, joining our community of over 35 clients that are running Klein software around the world," said Pete Behrendt, managing director of Klein Systems.
