3D printed rifle begins manufacturing slide into grey area (video)

A YouTube user named ThreeD Ukulele has posted a video of a functioning, low-caliber 3D printed rifle.

The rifle fires .22 ammunition, just like the original Liberator on which it is modeled. The "Grizzly" is comparable with training rifles used for hunting small game.

Everything about it came from a Stratasys Dimension 1200es, a relatively high-grade printer that sells for tens of thousands of dollars, except for a single one-inch metal roofing nail available at any hardware store.

The article includes a video of the rifle, which shows it breaking after just a single shot, much like the original Liberator pistol.
