Port Newark deploys Versiant Lynx mobile app

Port Newark Container Terminal is using Versiant's Lynx mobile Web access application to provide its customers real-time terminal information on their smart phones and tablets, according to a company statement.

PNCT customers will be able to confirm container availability, view vessel schedules, review bookings and evaluate gate EIRs prior to arriving at the terminal using the program's intuitive user interface on their mobile devices, Versiant said. 

Customers will be accessing the software portal to retrieve information routed from the PNCT website to their mobile devices. The configurable software platform integrates into the container terminal's TOS and has been customized to meet PNCT requirements.
