Construction launch of world's first LNG container ships (video)

On Monday, TOTE/ Sea Star held a ceremony to celebrate construction of the world's first Liquefied Natural Gas containerships.

Peter Keller, TOTE executive Vice President spoke about the first ship, called the Marlin Class Hull 495, at the NASSCO Shipyard in San Diego. The Hull 495 is the first of two high tech LNG ships that will run between Jacksonville and Puerto Rico, operating out of JaxPort.
