Largest container terminal in Argentina deploys Navis N4 TOS

DP World's Terminales Rio de la Plata, the largest container terminal in Argentina, upgraded to the Navis N4 terminal operating system, according to a company statement.

The facility made the upgrade, Navis said, to boost shipside and rail performance, make reporting more user-friendly, decrease customization needs, enhance IT productivity, streamline billing functionality and event monitoring, and improve remote access for terminal management.

"In just the few weeks since the official go-live, we're pleased with the improvements offered by the new platform and are confident that this strategic investment will yield many more for our customers in the coming months," said Ricardo Alvarez, operations director for Terminales Rio de la Plata.
