VYCON named to Inc. 500 list

The designer and manufacturer of high-speed energy storage fly wheel systems – VYCON - announced it was named in Inc. Magazine’s Top 500 list of the most entrepreneurial and fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

According to VYCON, it achieved a three- year sales growth of 1,744 percent, ranking the company 206 on this year’s Inc. 500 list.

“Our green solutions to energy storage for diverse applications, from data centers to hospitals to mobile shipyard cranes and high-speed rail, are playing an important role in helping organizations advance their green initiatives and lessen their carbon footprint,” said Frank DeLattre, president of VYCON.

The Inc. list includes more than 25 percent of companies in the energy sector reflecting $2.5 billion aggregate revenue, and a 942 percent median growth rate with focus on solar and other alternative sources, VYCON reported.
