Trucking software provider releases latest iPhone app

Mobile transportation software provider uDrove, announced it has updated its trucking application for the iPhone, available for download at Apple’s “App Store.”

The uDrove application, which is also available on the Android and Blackberry smart phones, enables truck drivers to keep a log, track mileage for tax purposes, record fuel and business expenses and complete and electronically submit driver’s vehicle inspection reports and proof of delivery documents, the software firm said.

The application also provides fleets and shippers with real-time load tracking from pick-up to delivery, the company said.

The new iPhone version of uDrove’s improvements reportedly include support for iOS-4, improved GPS, ability to input data via the QWERTY keyboard and the ability to take multiple photos of proof of delivery documents.
