Port of Seattle adds three post-Panamax cranes

SSA's Terminal 18 at the Port of Seattle will receive three super post-Panamax ZPMC cranes in late July, giving them a total of six high tech cranes.  The new equipment will give Seattle the ability to handle the largest container vessels in the world, which carry loads of up to 18,000 TEUs.

The 267-foot high Super Post Panamax cranes are currently en route, scheduled to arrive in Seattle on July 24 aboard the cargo ship Zhen Hua 23.
