Descartes unveils its latest Global Freight Exchange

Descartes Systems Group recently unveiled the latest version of its Global Freight Exchange (GF-X) airfreight electronic booking portal.

Descartes said its GF-X solution includes an on-line cargo reservation system where air carriers and freight forwarders can complete electronic air cargo bookings. The logistics firm said its GF-X customers include American Airlines, Air France, British Airways, Delta Air Lines, DHL, Kühne + Nagel, Lufthansa, and Panalpina.

The company said its latest GF-X upgrades include single sign-on for multiple roles and real-time confirmation of bookings.

The GF-X software integrates with Descartes’ multi-party suite of air cargo management tools, including solutions for bookings, shipment monitoring, quality performance reporting and customs filing, the company said.
