

MOL U.S. to raise Asia reefer rates
Japan’s shipping group MOL announced it would increase rates on all cargo from U.S. and Canadian West Coast ports to Asia beginning January 15.
The general rate increase will be $200 per TEU and $250 per FEU. From U.S. and Canadian East Coast ports, all water reefer shipment rates will go up $240 per-TEU and $300 per-FEU, the carrier said.
The rate increases apply to destinations in the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, MOL said.
