Port L.A. taps SunLink for solar project

SunLink, a provider of commercial PV mounting systems and balance of system components, has installed its non-penetrating rooftop solar module mounting system for 1MW solar PV project completed by Cupertino Electric (CEI) at the Port of Los Angeles’ World Cruise Center in Los Angeles.

The project uses the SunLink Roof Mount System (RMS), a commercial rooftop mounting system that has been installed on over 180MW of projects at 900 sites across North America, providing a cost-effective solar power system.

The Port of Los Angeles solar project, which is part of the City of Los Angeles' 'Solar LA Program,' is expected to reduce the Port's carbon footprint by nearly 22,838 metric tons over its lifetime.
