CargoWise acquires VivaSoft

Logistics tech firm CargoWise announced it has acquired Canada’s VivaSoft, another logistics technology provider for an undisclosed sum.

CargoWise said in a statement that the acquisition would contribute to its 2011 growth of over 215 percent in North America.

“In addition to our comprehensive global logistics solutions we will offer a brand new Canadian Customs application suite for all entry types and messages,” said CargoWise CEO and founder, Richard White.

“Our global CargoWise Hosting application will be available in the Canadian market via high quality geo-clustered data centers in US, UK and AU and is included at no charge in standard support arrangements,” he said.
