Tideworks tapped by Halifax terminal operator

Seattle-based Tideworks Technology, Inc announced Halterm Container Terminal Limited has selected the tech firm's terminal operating system to be deployed at its facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The over-forty-year-old Halterm operation is located on a 70-acre site and has an annual throughput capacity of 700,000 TEUs. The terminal operator sought to replace its legacy system, according to Tideworks in a statement.

Tideworks says its system is scheduled to go live at Halterm in 2012.
