Globe Tracker and CIMC partner on tracking products for shipping sector

Danish company Globe Tracker and a subsidiary of China International Marine Container Company, Internet of Mobile Things International, announced they have formed a partnership to provide the container shipping, trucking, rail and logistics sectors with global tracking, monitoring and remote asset management services and equipment.

The CIMC equipment will primarily be dry bulk and refrigerated containers, plus tanker containers, trucks, truck trailers, railway cars, and other products that benefit from tracking and monitoring services, the statement said.

As part of the deal, CIMC IOMT will become an original manufacturer of Globe Tracker’s tracking, monitoring and remote asset management solution equipment, selling the products and services under the CIMC brand.

"We couldn’t be more pleased or more honored than having CIMC as our OEM partner for bringing cutting-edge tracking and monitoring technology to the global marketplace where there is such profound need for it," said Jim Davis, CEO of Globe Tracker.
