Maersk releases time-lapse video of E-Class ship construction



Check out this video released by Maersk that shows a time-lapse of the Emma Maersk, a Triple-E vessel, being built in 76 seconds, from the foundations of construction to the finished product.

According to the video summary, the time-lapse was produced by Discovery Channel and Maersk, and

consists of 50,000 photos taken over three months.

Although the ship is no longer the world’s biggest container ship, the Triple E Class ship is among the first generation of mega-ships.
