Cargotec wins big contract for automated equipment at TraPac’s L.A. terminal

Port equipment and technology provider Cargotec announced it has won a contract to supply ten automatic stacking cranes and 17 customized automatic shuttle carriers for TraPac Inc, a division of Mitsui OSK Lines, at the Port of Los Angeles.

The Helsinki-based company said in a statement that the equipment would be delivered to TraPac in 2012 and 2013. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
