Navy floats new nuclear super carrier

The U.S. Navy floated its new nuclear super carrier, the Gerald R. Ford, for the first time last week at the Newport News Shipbuilding's Dry Dock 12. The massive vessel is the first of a new class of carriers ultimately meant to replace the current Nimitz-class fleet.
