Amazon to launch its own tablet this week

Online retail giant, Amazon, is reportedly set to release its Kindle Fire tablet this week.

According to TechCrunch, the device will feature a 7-inch display that is similar to BlackBerry’s PlayBook tablet since the same manufacturer, Quanta, built the Kindle Fire.

The Fire will also reportedly prominently feature Amazon’s MP3 service and its Kindle bookstore, although the regular Kindle e-book will continue to be produced.
