Global supply chain firm Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation announced the acquisition of Alternative Distribution Systems Logistics Company, Inc. (ADS Logistics), a metals logistics provider based out of Chesterton, Indiana.

Odyssey reports that ADS Logistics provides trucking, warehousing, and intermodal services through three divisions: Area Transportation, Roll & Hold, and Western Intermodal.

The newly acquired firm's Area Transportation services primarily the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, West Coast, and several Southern regions.

Its Roll & Hold division features approximately 500,000-square-feet of storage space and services in five locations. Its Western Intermodal facilities ship material between Chicago, IL and the West Coast, and provide drayage and trans-loading services and temporary storage for on-demand shipment to customers, the statement said.
