Savi Technology hires first CTO

Savi Technology, a provider, among other solutions, of wireless tracking software for the logistics supply chain, announced that William Maggs has been hired to fill the newly created position of chief technology officer, along with becoming senior vice president for technology operations.

Maggs was formerly CTO for Palm, Inc., and also held similar technology development positions with Motorola and Sony Ericsson.

“With his technical and executive experience at some of the world’s most cutting-edge technology companies, Bill is uniquely qualified to advance Savi Technology’s wireless solutions for supply chains and beyond,” said David Stephens, Savi Technology’s chief executive officer.
