Savi Technology moves global HQ to Virginia

Lockheed Martin’s Savi Technology announced the relocation of its global headquarters to existing offices in Alexandria, Virginia.

The supply chain technology company said in a statement the move is strategic so it can be closer to its “expanding base of public sector and commercial customers.”

Savi said its previous headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., would become an “Innovation Lab,” with more than 150 engineering and support personnel. Other departments such as finance, human resources, general counsel and IT will remain in Mountain View, the company said.

“With these changes, Savi Technology gains the best of both worlds – a leadership team based at the focal point of some of our major customers and an innovation campus based in the heart of Silicon Valley,” said David Stephens, CEO of Savi Technology.

Savi Technology also has offices in Lexington, Kentucky., the U.K., Australia and Singapore.
