Union Pacific begins construction on $400 mil inland port rail facility in New Mexico

Union Pacific Railroad announced it has launched construction of a new 2,200-acre inland port rail facility near Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

The rail facility site is located just west of the Santa Teresa Airport and will include fueling facilities, crew change buildings, locomotive inspection tracks, an intermodal ramp and a switching yard, the UP said in a statement.
