CSA Transportation builds new truck shipping terminal in Surrey, B.C.

CSA Transportation will soon begin construction of a new 35,000 square foot high-volume distribution terminal in Southeast Surrey, B.C., according to a company statement.

The new high tech facility, to be built on 3.2 acres in a Campbell Heights business park, will facilitate the growth of CSA shipping services between British Columbia and the rest of Canada and the U.S. The Beedie Group will manage construction at the site.

"It will have double the dock space and much needed room in the yard for many more trailers," said Herman Fallick, president and CEO of CSA Transportation. "The office will be larger than what we have now to help enhance our regional customer service capabilities. It's going to be a beautiful, highly-efficient building that will help us continue to grow and provide outstanding service to our loyal clients."

The new distribution center puts CSA just five minutes away from the U.S.-Canada border and provides easy access to all major highways. The facility, to open fall of 2014, will allow CSA to better serve the BC region with its LTL transportation, pallet shipping and full load freight shipping services.

The new facility is scheduled to open fall of 2014.
