UPS technology expands in Latin America

UPS clients in Latin American and the Caribbean now have access to Web-based applications and visibility tools to automate their ability to track and monitor their global and local parcel and freight shipments in their own local languages.

"Our investment in technology aims to better satisfy the needs of our customers, regardless if they ship a letter or high tech components, subassemblies or finished goods," said Jose Acosta, president of Latin American operations and public affairs for UPS Americas in a statement.

The countries included in the technology extension are Argentina, Bahamas, Bermuda, Bolivia, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Venezuela.
