Cargo security product receives U.S. patent

Sentina Inc.'s reusable protective cargo cover has received a U.S. patent.

The one-piece covering, which meets federal cargo safety standards, is vacuum-sealed and fully envelops shipments.

"Corporations worldwide are continually looking for ways to insure the integrity of their goods in transit, while also attempting to reduce the overall costs and harmful waste associated with one-time use packagings," said Sentina President Jeff Garfinkle.

The protective cover keeps cargo airtight, watertight and secure, guarding against tampering from its application to its removal. Any disturbance of the cover or its contents is immediately evident.

The nylon covering has a thick polyurethane coating, special zipper and vacuum port.
