INTTRA, SeaIntel join together on ship schedule reliability index

The online ocean-shipping network, INTTRA and SeaIntel, which provides container market analysis, announced they have joined together to offer what they claim is the first on-time performance and schedule reliability index.

The two firms said they would provide a monthly report that will combine SeaIntel's current schedule reliability intelligence with actual delivery performance data culled from what INTTRA says are its 35 ocean carriers and NVOCCs, 200,000 users and more than 800,000 individual container status messages.

SeaIntel and INTTRA said they would also publish a series of analysis reports that delve deeper into other factors that contribute to on-time container-shipping performance.
