Freight Logisitics implements Cargosphere tech platform

CargoSphere announced that Freight Logistics, a leading global freight forwarder and logistics service provider, has implemented the CargoSphere cloud-based technology platform.

The platform allows Freight Logistics to self-manage air and ocean carrier contracts using CargoSphere’s SUDS (Smart Upload and Diagnostic Solution) and to receive online rates over CargoSphere’s real-time Rate Mesh from carriers, NVOs and the NCBFAA-SA.

The technology gives Freight Logistics a single

freight rate database that allows them to quickly issue quotations to customers.

"Due to the volume of rates we manage and array of rate sources we access, processing and effectively using rate data was cumbersome and complex," said Marcela Garbers, operations supervisor, Freight Logistics. "Comparing rate options manually was time consuming and wasn’t productive. We knew we needed a tool that would simplify this process. With CargoSphere we’re able to quickly and affordably compare all rate sources in one search engine and quote faster to enhance customer satisfaction."
