Oregon shipbuilder delivers covered paper barge to Georgia Pacific

Portland, Oregon-based U.S. Fab LLC, a subsidary of Vigor Industrial, announced the delivery of a 180-foot-long covered paper barge to Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products LP.

“This barge will help Georgia Pacific continue to provide low-cost shipping for finished product from along the lower Columbia River to its warehouse in Portland,” said Georgia Pacific’s John Briggs in a statement.
