CargoSphere launches newest version of rate network

CargoSphere, which offers cloud-based, global rate management products for ocean and air logistics, recently launched version 4.0 of the CargoSphere Rate Network.

The upgrade provides a more intuitive, clearly defined and user-friendly networking experience for NVOCCs and freight forwarders who collaborate with global agent partners, according to a company statement.

CRN 4.0's new guest sponsor program improves collaboration between CargoSphere system users and their agents with a fast, direct rate process that allows rate sharing in minutes, the statement said.

The company reports that other CRN 4.0 improvements include new rate networking functionality based on geographical parameters, expanded options for agent partners, and block features to manage and limit what contract and rate information is available for viewing.

"Overall, this system has truly transformed our global NVO business," said said Reynir Gislason, executive president/owner of International Freight Shipping S.A.C. "Managing service contracts and client quotations is fast, easy, accurate, and very professional."
