INTTRA appoints new president and COO

INTTRA, the ocean shipping e-marketplace, announced that Inna Kuznetsova has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of the company.

Since joining INTTRA in 2015, Kuznetsova has served as president of INTTRA Marketplace, the company’s core business. INTTRA Marketplace currently handles 1 in 4 ocean container shipping transactions and generated a 12 percent increase in container orders in 2015.

Kuznetsova has also led INTTRA’s eVGM initiative and the development of an eVGM compliance software solution for carriers and shippers. The eVGM Initiative is a non-commercial group consisting of more than a dozen leading carriers, freight forwarders and ports — all working to develop technology and business standards to
foster industry compliance with upcoming Safety
of Life at Sea verified gross mass (SOLAS VGM) container weight requirements. The group has expressed the preference for a digital approach

to VGM compliance.

"I’m very pleased that Inna is stepping into this role at a time of great momentum for INTTRA," said INTTRA CEO John Fay. "I am very confident that she will make a great contribution to our efforts to continue to grow INTTRA by exceeding our customers’ expectations, meeting their evolving needs, and achieving further success for INTTRA."
