PSA International container volume rose 5.6 percent

Singapore-based port operator PSA International said the number of containers handled in its ports rose 5.6 percent in 2011, according to a statement issued by the company on Thursday.

PSA handled 57.09 million 20-foot equivalent units in 2011. Volume in Singapore rose 6.1 percent to 29.37 million units.
