The system allows users to positively detect intrusion of cargo from any of a container’s or trailer’s six sides. Transportation workers and staff can also be equipped with badges to associate them with cargo movement. AVANTE believes that securing the supply chain during storage and transit can help lower costs to consumers through the reduction of loss, theft, and other spoilages.

COMPANY: Sequestered Solutions Alaska, LLC (SSA)

Product: SSA, Managed-Hosting IT Services, Managed Server Hosting, secure Data Hosting, remote Disaster Recovery Hot Site, SSA’s DCVault, End-Point, Continuous, Online Data Storage

Platform: SSA Hosting. The hosting facilities are platform agnostic. The managed servers are generally Wintel.

SSA’s DCVault client is currently tested and authorized for use on Windows systems, although a version for Macintosh and Mobile devices is in the works for a future release. The system requires access to the Web for data upload using either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

How it Works: SSA Hosting Services — After a scoping engagement gathers system requirements, the customer receives recommendations and can choose from an array of options for levels of service ranging from Environmental Only to Data Hosting to Fully Managed Services. They do not limit rack space to servers only and currently host Cisco 6513’s along with many other network and communications devices.
DCVault Software as a Service (SaaS) — web services or cloud technology is a new offering that facilitates the end-user’s remote data storage whether for personal home use, corporate, or government data storage utilizing existing SSA Datacenter Hosting Facility.

Using AES-256 for file and file structure encryption and 128-bit SSL during data transport, DCVault works as a transparent background operation, much like antivirus software works. Client updates happen automatically, and as needed, while connected to the Internet. When the computer is not connected to the Internet, offline data file protection captures all incremental changes and automatic resumption of data backup once online.
